Excavator camera system

Challenges in Excavator management

1. Equipment Monitoring Challenges: Signal blind spots (tunnels/mines) cause positioning drift; only basic positioning without operating status (load/fuel consumption/faults); data loss during offline periods.

2. Inefficient Dynamic Scheduling: Idle and shortage coexist when multiple sites run in parallel; transfer routes face congestion/size limits; rescheduling lags during faults, weather changes, or demand shifts.

3. Rough Fuel Consumption Management: Fuel theft/leak detection relies on delayed manual inspection; fuel use decoupled from workload, making efficiency hard to assess; lack of fault prediction increases maintenance costs.

4. Delayed Safety Alerts: Blind spots in slope/high-altitude operations cause collisions/rollovers; no real-time alerts for hydraulic/engine anomalies; missing operation/environment records after accidents.

5. Complex System Integration: Multi-brand equipment (GPS/monitoring/ERP) data incompatible; only raw data stored, lacking visualization/analysis (utilization, fuel rankings).

Excavator camera system

The excavator camera system integrates a rear collision detection camera (wide-angle night vision for real-time monitoring of rear blind spots), a T4-grade intelligent display (high brightness, anti-interference, supporting multi-screen split display), a Driver Status Monitoring system (DSM, real-time tracking of fatigue/distraction), and an audio-visual alarm device. Combined with an array microphone for environmental sound collection and voice interaction, it builds a 360° visual coverage and active safety protection system through an industrial-grade bus, providing hardware support for operational safety and efficiency under complex working conditions.

Resolution for blind spot accidents:

BSD (Blind Spot Detection) monitoring: wide blind spot coverage, proactive warning, high accuracy, adaptable to the environment.

Driver reminder inside the vehicle: The main horn emits a "beep, beep" sound; the in-vehicle display shows a warning icon.

Pedestrian reminder outside the vehicle: External sound and light alarm triggers, lights flashing, and voice broadcasting "Danger, please keep away."
