YUWEI MDVR F6 is an on-board mobile digital video recorder built on an industrial-grade high-speed processing chip. Designed for police vehicle monitoring and remote management, it features waterproof performance. Integrating ADAS and DSM intelligent early warning technologies, it combines 4G/WIFI transmission, Beidou/GPS dual-mode positioning (optional RTK high-precision positioning) and inertial navigation to meet full-scenario police monitoring needs.

Equipped with a high-speed processor and embedded system, the system adopts H.264/H265 compression technology. H265 improves compression efficiency by 20%-50% compared with H.264, saving storage and data traffic while enabling smooth transmission under low bandwidth. With a modular design, the product allows flexible installation and easy maintenance. It has IP67 protection rating and adapts to environments ranging from -30℃ to 70℃. Combined with ITS technology, it provides a high-quality solution for police fleet management.

IVMS Tracking and Management Software (Including GPS/BDS Dual-Mode Positioning)

When viewing videos on YUWEI IVMS software, the map synchronously displays the driving track, and the positioning point moves in real time with the video, facilitating the viewing of law enforcement routes in chase videos. The map supports switching between normal and satellite views—satellite view can display real-scene photos. It also supports geographic information overlay, track storage, electronic fence and GPS mileage statistics to improve dispatch efficiency.

Intelligent Safety Early Warning Functions

①　ADAS (Optional): Supports forward collision warning, lane departure warning, vehicle distance monitoring, pedestrian collision warning and zebra crossing detection. The adaptive speed threshold is configurable, applicable to most scenarios (excluding extreme weather).

②　DSM (Optional): Monitors driver status such as fatigue, distraction, phone use and smoking. It is equipped with camera occlusion alarm and local face recognition to ensure standardized driver operations.

Video and Storage Capabilities

①　Supports 4-6 channels of analog video and 2 channels of audio input, enabling 1080P/720P recording with clear images in low light conditions.

②　Uses SD card storage (maximum 2TB) and can control M.2 solid-state drives. The patented file system ensures data security. It has UPR power-off continuous recording and low-voltage protection functions.

Remote and Monitoring Expansion

①　Transmits monitoring videos in real time via 4G. The dual-stream rate is adjustable, allowing remote capture of alarm images.

②　Supports remote monitoring, intercom, voice prompts and TTS broadcasting to facilitate communication between the command center and vehicles.

③　Features driving behavior analysis, road yaw detection, segmental speed limit warning and regional reporting functions to standardize law enforcement processes.

Cloud Guardian and Maintenance

Supports remote fault diagnosis, program maintenance, parameter configuration and terminal statistics, improving maintenance efficiency and saving police costs.

Parts and Accessories of YUWEI MDVR F6

Touchscreen Display

10-inch large screen with built-in speaker, supporting touch operation. Installed inside the vehicle, it can display camera images and play back videos. Built-in 4G supports calls and text messages.

In-car Camera

Compact design that does not block the front windshield view. Built-in infrared LED lights (hidden behind black glass) provide excellent night vision effect, capable of capturing images of front and rear passengers.

Indoor Dome Camera

Specifically designed for law enforcement, it is impact-resistant (undamaged by hammer strikes). Easier to install than previous models with 5 times improved image quality, suitable for installation in the rear of patrol vehicles.

Front-facing Camera

Small size with 1080P high definition and clear images in low light. No bracket required, can be installed on the front windshield or rear window. Cooperates with ADAS to achieve all-round monitoring.

Special Cameras (ADAS/DSM)

①　ADAS Camera (Y6): Equipped with GC1054 sensor, 1280×720 pixels, horizontal field of view 52°, depth of field 200cm, AHD transmission. Calibration is required during installation.

②　DSM Waterproof Camera: 1/2.7" CMOS sensor, 2 million pixels, horizontal field of view 56°, vertical field of view 31°, infrared detection range 0-1.2M, operating temperature -20℃~70℃. Suitable for dashboard installation.

Installation Layout Requirements

Camera Installation

①　ADAS camera requires calibration to ensure accurate early warning.

②　DSM camera is preferably installed on the dashboard directly in front of the steering wheel, allowing left-right deviation (≤25°) and pitch angle of 5°~15°.

Antenna Installation

①　Communication antenna should be installed hidden near the car window, away from electronic devices and metal objects, with a distance of ≥50cm from other antennas.

②　Positioning antenna should be installed with the receiving surface facing up (no obstruction, sky visibility angle ≥60°) and tilt angle ≤15°. It is recommended to install it under the front windshield or on the roof, with a distance of ≥50cm from the communication antenna.
