Frequently Asked Questions

Are you a factory producing car tracking devices or a trading company

We are a factory with over 25 years of experience offering OEM and ODM services. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of in-vehicle products such as dashcams, mobile DVRs, GPS trackers, etc., catering to a wide range of vehicle fleets including trucks, buses, taxis, motorcycles, bicycles, and more!

Do your GPS trackers come with certificates?

Our GPS trackers are certified by the US FCC and the EU CE, so rest assured that they meet all necessary standards. We welcome you to purchase them, and we are also in the process of applying for additional certifications.

WHAT DOES A GPS TRACKER DO?

GPS tracking requires a device to be installed in a vehicle, on an asset, or to be worn by a person. The device then provides information about its exact location and subsequent movements, enabling tracking in real-time. This can be used by fleet managers to locate where a truck or asset is on its scheduled route, report on traffic conditions, and monitor how long each vehicle spends at a job-site.

Additional Benefits of GPS Tracking and Remote Information Processing

Optimized Routes

GPS tracking systems allow you to optimize the routes for your fleet. You can easily locate your drivers and determine the ones closest to specific jobs. If needed, you can dispatch the nearest driver and rearrange the routes for the rest of the vehicles. This can save you time and money while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Reduced Operational Costs

Whether it's reducing fuel consumption by guiding drivers on more efficient routes or making better scheduling decisions, GPS tracking devices can help you make cost-saving decisions based on real-time data. By gaining deeper insights into your fleet's operations and having more data about your fleet vehicles, your decisions become more strategic and impactful for your business and its profitability.

Decreased Fuel Usage and Costs

Before advancements in GPS remote information processing technology, fleet managers couldn't know what their employees were doing each day, where they were at specific times, and where they would go next. They lacked knowledge of who to dispatch for jobs, when jobs would be completed, or even if they were completed.

With GPS tracking and improved scheduling, you can save on fuel usage, time, and reduce emissions. For example, you can utilize GPS technology to identify idle time, excessive speeding, or inefficient driving behaviors, allowing you to implement corrective measures and promote fuel-efficient practices within your fleet.

The Legality of GPS Trackers

Privacy concerns surrounding GPS tracking have led to legislation regarding the use of these devices. It is completely legal to install GPS devices on vehicles or assets that you own. However, if you intend to use such a device on individuals or other people's vehicles, you need to check the current federal, state, and local laws. These laws are constantly evolving with new cases, so staying up-to-date on the latest revisions is essential. Here's what you need to know:

  • It is legal to use GPS tracking devices if you or your company own the assets or vehicles.

  • Employees must be aware that they are being monitored while on the job.

  • Employers must ensure that their vehicle tracking solutions are used solely for business-related purposes.

  • Clarity and transparency are crucial regarding when and how this data is used. A lack of trust or understanding among your employees about how you use GPS tracker data can lead to low morale.

Remote Information Processing and GPS Tracking

Remote information processing and GPS fleet tracking work together to provide actionable insights for your fleet operations. They are not competitive systems, but rather complementary parts of a system. The core of the remote information processing system is a tracking device that collects real-time data about vehicle location and status. This solution receives GPS data and sends it to a central server. The data is then processed and transformed into updates that can be accessed through fleet management software.
