Lorry Telematics System

In today's booming logistics industry, as a manager or fleet manager, are you troubled by the following issues?

Truck Management Challenges

1. Although vehicles are equipped with GPS tracking systems, the safety of goods cannot be guaranteed, leading to losses or damages. The lack of evidence to distinguish responsibility often results in disputes between logistics companies, customers, and insurance companies over compensation issues.

2. Supervising driver behavior and travel routes is difficult, increasing transportation safety risks due to speeding, fatigue driving, violations, and other behaviors.

3. When customers inquire about the location and delivery time of goods, they often can only do so via phone or website. Small companies may not even provide such query services, leading to frequent customer inquiries.

4. Frequent oil theft incidents in trucks increase operating costs and are difficult to manage, and improper handling may affect driver morale.

5. In the event of sudden incidents such as accidents, robberies, or vehicle breakdowns, the monitoring center's delayed response leads to delivery delays and customer complaints.

6. As service quality requirements rise, improving service levels is key to standing out in the market.

Overview of the Onboard Monitoring System

The JJR Laboratory has introduced a 3G/4G intelligent onboard monitoring system solution, designed to help managers tackle these challenges. The system encodes and stores audio-video, GPS, and alarm data via the MDVR host and uploads it to the server through the 3G/4G network for remote management.

System Features

- Backend software authorizes vehicles, generates accounts and passwords, and manages them centrally.

- Supports real-time viewing and management via Web clients, suitable for both mobile phones and computers.

Truck Telematics System

The 3G/4G intelligent onboard monitoring system includes onboard monitoring systems, mobile communication networks, and server monitoring centers, focusing on advancement, practicality, reliability, and safety, to enhance management efficiency and stability.

A: Front-end Onboard Monitoring System

The front-end system collects audio and video from cameras inside and outside the vehicle, ensuring comprehensive monitoring. It uses GPS positioning for real-time vehicle tracking and is connected to alarm switches. Main equipment includes:

- Digital intercom: Communication between the platform and vehicles.

- Fatigue driving monitor: Monitors driver fatigue to prevent accidents.

- Temperature sensor: Cold chain logistics temperature monitoring.

- Fuel sensor: Prevents fuel theft.

Camera Installation Locations (adjustable based on vehicle model):

1. Front-facing camera: Records driving conditions.

2. Driver seat camera: Ensures compliance and triggers alarms.

3. Fuel tank camera: Monitors fuel theft.

4. Exterior cargo box camera: Monitors the cargo area and identifies missing items.

5. Interior cargo box camera: Monitors the condition of goods.

6. Rear-facing camera: Monitors the rear and identifies missing items.

B: Mobile Communication Network

The 3G/4G network transmits audio, video, GPS, and alarm data, and also supports remote upgrades, parameter modifications, intercom, and alarm information viewing.

C: Server Monitoring Center

Composed of an IVMS server group, backend management software, and client software, it adopts a centralized network management architecture, supporting real-time remote monitoring of multiple vehicles. Features include:

- Video recording, snapshots, and playback;

- GIS electronic maps to display vehicle status;

- Query driving trajectories, quickly locate alarmed vehicles, and view live video of the scene.

Additionally, parking lots are equipped with Wi-Fi to automatically download videos to designated servers.

Management personnel authorize vehicles through the backend, generating accounts and passwords for unified management. The system supports Web clients for easy real-time viewing and management.
