Fire truck GPS Dash Camera
A fire truck, or fire engine, is an essential piece of equipment for ensuring public safety. To enhance the safety of firefighters and rescue personnel during their operations, we have developed a waterproof and shockproof camera surveillance system for fire trucks. This system not only provides high-definition video monitoring but also offers various functionalities to make fire trucks more secure and reliable during their response to incidents.
Our camera surveillance system utilizes a multi-camera setup with GPS capabilities to provide drivers with secure high-definition video. These cameras cover blind spots at the rear, sides, and front of the fire truck, monitoring specific functions of the vehicle. By viewing multiple camera images on a single monitor inside the driver's cabin, the driver can have a comprehensive view of the surrounding environment, eliminating blind spots and preventing collisions.
Furthermore, our system includes validated nozzles, monitors, and other electronic devices specifically designed for firefighting and fire trucks. These devices undergo rigorous testing to ensure their reliability and stability in various harsh environments. Whether it is a water tanker fire truck, foam fire truck, dry powder fire truck, or any other type of fire truck, we can install the appropriate camera system to provide comprehensive safety assurance.
Fire trucks face certain challenges during their operations, such as accidents caused by reckless speeding, collisions due to blind spots during reversing, and collisions that traditional cameras fail to cover. To address these issues, we introduce the YUWEI Fire Truck Camera System, aimed at securing every second of reaching the fire scene.
The YUWEI Fire Truck Camera System incorporates obstacle detection technology that can detect pedestrians in blind spots when the vehicle is about to make a left turn, issuing warnings to alert the driver. The system features four sensors installed near the bottom front side of the driver's cabin and a speaker mounted at the rear of the cabin to emit human voice warning alerts. When the sensors detect any objects in hazardous areas, they alert the driver through visual and auditory warnings and issue voice alerts to pedestrians and cyclists. This dual-function system alerts both parties to the potential danger, prompting them to take evasive action and effectively reducing the likelihood of accidents.
In addition to the camera surveillance system, we offer other solutions to enhance the safety of fire trucks. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), Blind Spot Detection (BSD) systems, and Driver State Monitoring (DSM) systems continuously monitor the vehicle's status, such as driver fatigue, and issue alarms to ensure the driver's safety. Furthermore, we recommend the use of mobile digital video recorders, which simultaneously record the footage from up to eight onboard cameras, providing irrefutable evidence in the event of an accident. These data can be stored for up to 1164 hours and easily accessed via PC or uploaded through 4G networks or dedicated WiFi.
The YUWEI Fire Truck Camera Surveillance System is a waterproof and shockproof solution aimed at enhancing the safety of firefighters and rescue personnel during their response to incidents. The system comprises a multi-camera setup with GPS capabilities, validated nozzles, monitors, and other electronic devices specifically designed for fire trucks. By employing solutions such as camera surveillance systems, ADAS and BSD, and DSM driver assistance systems, as well as mobile digital video recorders, blind spots and safety hazards in fire truck operations can be effectively eliminated, enhancing overall safety. We are committed to providing comprehensive safety assurance for fire trucks, ensuring that firefighting and rescue operations can be conducted more efficiently and safely.
