What is Artificial Intelligence?

AI (Artificial Intelligence)is a technology that encodes and decodes data collected from various sources. Its primary goal is to gather surrounding information, analyze it, and actively present it to the user. For instance, cameras and related sensors installed on vehicles collect data and transmit it to the AI-MDVR terminal, where the system processes the information and provides feedback through video or audio alerts. This allows proactive warnings to drivers about potential dangers, significantly reducing the likelihood of accidents.

Moreover, the AI-MDVR can transmit data via 3G/4G/5G to servers, offering a complete Internet of Vehicles (IoV) solution. As a leading solutions provider, our AI system supports major functionalities such as ADAS, DSM, and BSD.

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System)

Forward Collision Warning (FCW): Alerts drivers to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. The system continuously monitors traffic conditions and issues voice alerts when necessary, serving as a crucial tool to prevent collisions and enhance driving safety.

Pedestrian Detection Warning

Yielding to pedestrians is a basic traffic rule. However, drivers sometimes fail to brake in time, leading to accidents. Our system closely monitors pedestrian activity to safeguard both drivers and pedestrians.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

LDW is especially critical on highways. At high speeds, lane departure can easily result in collisions. The system continuously reminds drivers to stay within their lanes. Our ADAS solution features one of the most advanced LDW capabilities in the industry.

DSM (Driver Status Monitoring)

DSM plays a vital role in monitoring drivers’ daily behavior. With comprehensive DSM alert reports, fleet managers can identify top-performing drivers, enhancing fleet efficiency.

1. Facial Recognition: Identifies and verifies whether the driver is authorized, with data uploaded to the central office.

2. Fatigue Detection: One of the major causes of traffic accidents. Our DSM detects yawning and analyzes eye movement to determine fatigue levels.

3. Distraction Monitoring: Detects signs such as closed eyes, distracted behavior, or absence from the driver seat.

Additional DSM features include:

1. Smoking Detection: Critical for transporting hazardous goods like fuel, this function identifies smoking behavior and reports it to the platform.

2. Phone Call Detection: Addresses the widespread and dangerous habit of using mobile phones while driving.

3. Camera Obstruction Detection: Detects if the DSM camera is intentionally covered and alerts the driver accordingly.

BSD (Blind Spot Detection)

BSD is more effective than traditional blind spot video displays. Utilizing sound and light monitoring technology, BSD detects surrounding objects, giving drivers a dedicated perception channel. Combined with MDVR’s I/O-linked blind spot video display, it provides complete vehicle situational awareness.
