Cement Truck Telematics Solution

Concrete is a perishable product. The countdown begins the moment it leaves the plant — if any one of detours, queuing, or the drum stopping goes out of control, it arrives at the construction site as waste.

Mixer trucks are large, have many blind spots, and require a wide right-turn radius. Intersections and site entrances are exactly the high-risk zones for accidents.

Cement Truck Telematics System

Cement Truck Telematics System

The Cement Truck Telematics System consists of on-board components including multi-channel cameras, positioning terminals, and various sensors. Data is uploaded to the cloud via 4G/5G and finally forms visualized management on the dispatch screen and mobile application.

Positioning & Dispatching

Dual-mode GPS/Beidou returns position, speed, and direction. Combined with electronic geofencing (batching plant, construction site, restricted zones) and route replay, dispatchers can directly see each truck's working stage: dispatched, en route, waiting at site, pouring, and returning to the plant.

Drum & Material Flow

Forward/reverse sensors monitor the drum's rotation direction, rotation count, and running time in real time. This simultaneously solves two problems: concrete solidifying and becoming waste when the drum stops mid-route, and vehicles privately reversing to unload at unauthorized points.

AI Video & Active Safety

1.ADAS: Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Headway Monitoring Warning (HMW), and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) — provides advance alerts tailored to the vehicle's high body and long braking distance.

2.DSM: Detects closed eyes, yawning, phone use, smoking, and looking around. The in-vehicle alarm light and buzzer intervene immediately, while events are simultaneously uploaded to the platform as a basis for training and assessment.

3.BSD: Right-side blind spot detection identifies pedestrians and riders within 3 meters, triggering external audible/visual alarms and voice broadcast — far more reliable than mirrors.
