Concrete Mixer Truck Dash Camera System 2026

With the rapid development of the Indian construction industry in 2026, the Concrete Mixer Truck transport sector is changing with each passing day, and competition is becoming increasingly fierce. Consequently, the drawbacks of traditional management methods are becoming more obvious; the backward management practices lead to increasingly high explicit and implicit costs. Therefore, concrete manufacturers and Concrete Mixer Truck transport enterprises urgently need an intelligent camera system capable of tracking and managing their fleets using scientific, modern management tools.

Concrete Mixer Truck Dash Camera Solution

The Concrete Mixer Truck monitoring system mainly consists of a monitoring system cloud platform, an in-vehicle positioning terminal, cameras (optional ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance and DMS Driver Monitoring System binocular AI cameras), forward/reverse rotation sensors, fuel level sensors, and load sensors. It is used to monitor and dispatch Concrete Mixer Trucks and pump trucks.

1.Real-time Positioning: Real-time monitoring of the Concrete Mixer Truck's location via Beidou GPS positioning.

2.Camera Monitoring: Monitors the Concrete Mixer Truck's reversing video. The right-side video eliminates the right-turn visual blind spot. An optional blind spot monitoring system can also be equipped to provide obstacle alarms in the right-turn blind spot.

3.ADAS Advanced Driver Assistance: Real-time recognition of forward lane departure, insufficient following distance (Forward Collision Warning - FCW), pedestrians, and obstacles. It issues audio-visual warnings to the driver when danger occurs, effectively reducing rear-end collisions and scraping accidents caused by fatigue or distraction.

4.DMS Driver Status Monitoring: Real-time recognition of driver behaviors such as fatigue yawning, prolonged eye closure, frequent head lowering, smoking, phone usage, and covering the lens. It provides immediate local alarm reminders and synchronously uploads the data to the cloud platform for archiving, providing a basis for accident tracing and driver performance assessment.

Concrete Mixer Truck Blind Spot Monitoring

Through in-vehicle video, it achieves reversing image and right-turn blind spot image monitoring functions. By opting for the blind spot monitoring system, real-time alerts for right-turn obstacles are realized. Concurrently, combined with ADAS forward driving assistance and DMS driver status monitoring, it forms a four-in-one active safety system: "Forward Warning + Driver Status + Blind Spot Monitoring + Reversing Image." It performs real-time recognition and alarms for high-risk behaviors such as harsh acceleration, harsh deceleration, sharp turning, collision risks, fatigue driving, and distracted driving, automatically generating driving behavior scores and risk reports. This ensures the transport safety of Concrete Mixer Trucks (during driving and unloading processes).

Fuel Tank Level Monitoring

It achieves real-time monitoring of fuel tank levels and provides key data reporting such as fuel leak alarms and refueling data to ensure fuel safety. It also correlates and compares this data with driving mileage and forward/reverse rotation times.

Forward and Reverse Rotation Sensors

By using forward and reverse rotation sensors, it monitors in real time whether the Concrete Mixer Truck's concrete drum is rotating forward, rotating in reverse, or stopped. Combined with the vehicle's driving status, it determines whether the vehicle is in transport, unloading, or empty status. The adoption of edge computing forward and reverse sensors not only calculates the rotation status but also computes all data, including rotation speed, total rotation duration, and the duration of the current status.

Adopting a new type of angle load sensor, it monitors weight data in real time. Through the weight data, combined with the forward and reverse rotation status, it calculates the duration and weight of each unloading operation. Integrated with the client construction site's electronic fence management, it achieves illegal unloading alarms and calculates the unloading location, illegal unloading duration, and unloaded weight.

Electronic Fence

Combined with the electronic fence management function, it triggers an overtime duration alarm based on the time and status of the Concrete Mixer Truck entering and exiting the fenced area. This standardizes the management of users (construction sites), provides a basis for overtime fee settlement, and improves the management efficiency of all parties.
